It seems that almost everyone has to get their wisdom teeth pulled in their lifetime in order to avoid future discomfort and dental complications. Although even one might seem like they have to get wisdom teeth extraction, Spring Hill residents should be aware that some individuals will never have to get their wisdom teeth pulled. These individuals often do not have the complications of wisdom teeth because it is possible to be born without wisdom teeth! Wisdom teeth were much more valuable to humans when they were hunters and gathers, but now, they cause more problems for people.

Not Enough Mouth Space for Wisdom Teeth

Back when humans were hunters and gatherers, we often had much larger jaw bones, that could easily fit an additional set of molar teeth without causing additional pain and discomfort. Over time human beings have slowly developed smaller mouths and jaws, but most of us still have a set of wisdom teeth that tries to come in. Without Wisdom Tooth Extraction, Spring Hill residents will have spatial issues and crowding to deal with that could cause more than discomfort. Some patients will only have two molars to deal with as opposed to four while others will go their whole lifetime with never having to deal with wisdom teeth.

Impacted Wisdom Teeth

It is not uncommon for an individual to have wisdom teeth in their mouth never have them actually break the gum line. When a wisdom tooth does erupt properly, it can still cause great pain and other issues for patients. With wisdom tooth extraction, Spring Hill residents would have their gums cut open in order for their dental professional to do any kind of work. It should be known that some people do not have to get their wisdom teeth pulled if they are correctly positioned and are not obstructing other teeth.
