Extractions

There comes a time in many of our lives when a tooth must be extracted (pulled). Whether it be because a baby tooth is in the way of a permanent tooth coming in or because a tooth has deep decay and keeping it may affect the surrounding teeth. When your dentist determines that a tooth must be extracted they may be able to do so during a regular check-up visit or may schedule you a different day depending on the circumstances of the tooth at that time. This procedure is typically quick but it is important to ask questions and voice your concerns before the extraction.
